We arrive in Izvos, a village near Belogradchik, and visit the green house of Architect Georgi Georgiev (one of participants in The Sixth International Conference on Earthen Building and Architecture, Earth USA 2011). The bus takes us to Belogradchik Fortress (also known as Kaleto). We walk around the rocks to the main square of the town.

integrated with the project “Enabling students and citizens to realize their global environmental and social footprint” (CEE Bankwatch Network No 681/15)..
A lively interest among students, scientists and lecturers from different nationalities from seven departments of the New Bulgarian University (“Architecture”, “Administration and Management”, “Economics”, “Mass Communications”, “Political Sciences” and “Romans Studies and Germanism”, “Natural Sciences”), from two departments of the University of Libraries and Information Technologies (” Communications and Information “and” Library Sciences “), and also from the Institute for the Study of Societies and Knowledge at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, from the Social Sciences Department of the Grenoble University Pierre Mandes-France, the Talent Campus, Burgundy, France, and the House of Humanities at the University of Burgundy, has prompted the discussion with Genadi Kondarev of the Environmental Association “Za Zemyata/For the Earth”.

International Student’s Conference ”The City of the Future – the Future of the City”:
The students continued to discuss this issues raised by the debate on future development during the concluding conference in which the interdisciplinary working groups presented the results of their work during the Travelling University (May 30 – June 1, 2016).
The final discussion was also attended by the District Governor of Montana District, mr. Ivaylo Dimitrov, as well as representatives of the Chiprovtsi Historical Museum, Petar Parchevich Primary School in Chiprovtsi, Chiprovtsi Alternative and Development Association, Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia

Lecture by Nikola Nikolov, teacher, herbalist and ethnographer, in the herb garden behind Petar Parchevich School. Introduction to Petar Parchevich School by Svetlana Trencheva. Carpet weaving demonstration by pupils from the school. Visit to the Demonstration Centre of Crafts.
Afterwards, the groups split and start working, taking part in the How to Develop Sustainable Communication Skills workshop led by the Facilitator Working Group (Dr. Franck Dubois and Dr. Etienne Galmiche).

Departure for the Gushovski Monastery (in minivans). Plamen Petkov and Tanya Petkova show us around Yavor Hut and describe their plans to establish a training and social centre in the hut. Hike to the Chiprovtsi Waterfall, combined with work in groups and the How to Develop Sustainable Communication Skills workshop led by the Facilitator Working Group (Dr. Franck Dubois and Dr. Etienne Galmiche).
In the evening, we hike back to Chiprovtsi.
